CETUSA IS SEEKING A COMMUNITY COORDINATOR FOR THE MOUNT BAKER SCHOOL DISTRICT
This is ideal part-time work for a teacher or someone working within the school district, particularly in the summer months. Join a dynamic and caring team! The Council for Educational Travel USA, a non-profit student-exchange organization, is fully certified with the U.S. Dept. of State.
COMMUNITY COORDINATORS HAVE TWO PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Seek and qualify VOLUNTEER families in your community and assist with their selection of an international student to host.
2. Assist with Arrivals and Orientations. Provide ongoing supervision, support for student, host family, and school during the student's stay, reporting on placement monthly and issues as they occur.
Some of our best coordinators also host international students. Some are educators or others working in school districts who have regular contact with students and parents.

You are helping create a deeply maturing experience for foreign students, and you are making a significant contribution to the ambassadorial goals of the U.S. Department of State.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a necessity.
o Telephone and good phone skills a necessity.
o Flexible Schedule a plus.
o Flexible attitude a must.
o Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
o Good relationships with school and community a plus!
o Experience with teens and/or other cultures a plus!
o Attend Training Meetings when scheduled.
o Weekly phone contact with Team Leader.

The student-exchange program seeks to foster harmonious relationships and deeper understanding between the U.S. and other nations that will endure a lifetime.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
