The qualified School Occupational Therapist OT will act as the students' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist students to function at their personal best.
The School Occupational Therapist OT will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities of a School Occupational Therapist OT:
o Maintain a safe and orderly treatment areao Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments and reportingo Attend Individualized Education Programs (IEP) team meetings as necessary to review assessment data, and develop goals and objectiveso Review reports from health care providers requesting occupational therapy and coordinate occupational therapy services with student's health care providerso Act as a resource to school personnel in interpreting occupational therapy serviceso Reevaluate student's individual occupational therapy plans on a regular basiso New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transitiono Grade level Pre K - High Schoolo 2023 - 2024 school yearo Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate mannerPioneer Healthcare Services is located in beautiful San Diego and specializes in staffing and travel recruiting for nurses and therapists seeking jobs in the U.
